ABOUT THE TEAM

BEHIND THE TEAM

Founded in California in 2009, Animal Style has established itself as one of the most recognisable teams in American grassroots drifting, known for its aggressive tandem driving, distinctive Japanese-inspired builds and uncompromising approach to drift culture.

Drawing inspiration from Japan’s legendary Team Burst and drivers such as Naoki Nakamura, the team developed a style centred around close-proximity driving, bold car presentation and a genuine appreciation for the origins of drifting. What began as a group of like-minded enthusiasts has grown into an internationally recognised name within the grassroots scene.

Through appearances at events such as Final Bout and its involvement in the Super D series, Animal Style has played an influential role in connecting American drifting with the culture and driving styles that emerged from Japan. The team’s distinctive cars, tight tandem formations and commitment to grassroots motorsport have earned it a dedicated following around the world.

With several Animal Style drivers supported by Fenix Radiators, the partnership brings together a shared passion for Japanese automotive culture, performance engineering and the demanding nature of competitive drifting.
