BEHIND THE WHEEL

Tye Jefferies' journey into drifting started with a love for old-school Toyota Corollas — the first cars he ever modified. After hearing about a major drift event at Queensland Raceway, he headed along to see what it was all about. The cars, styling, atmosphere and sense of community immediately caught his attention, and he was hooked.

Over a decade later, drifting has taken Tye far beyond his home in Australia. From local events to international appearances across Europe, New Zealand and beyond, he's built a reputation within the grassroots drifting scene for his driving, distinctive style and passion for the culture surrounding the sport.

For Tye, drifting has always been about more than competition. The opportunity to travel the world, drive alongside like-minded people and form lasting friendships has been one of the biggest rewards of his journey.

With guest-driving appearances at events including LZ Festival, Next Level, Woundfest and Drift Riot, Tye continues to represent the spirit of grassroots drifting wherever he goes.
